Murray out as Federer and Djokovic advance to Final

federerRoger Federer has advanced to his tenth Wimbledon final after an incredible straight sets win over Andy Murray. Murray played fairly well, but Federer was in unbeatable form as he continues his run of not dropping a set all tournament.

The match went with serve in the first set, with both players playing some outstanding tennis. Federer eventually broke Murray in the twelfth game, to take it 7-5. The second continued in the same vein, and included an absolute epic game which lasted over ten minutes. Murray saved five set points, to level the score at 5-5. However, this proved to only be putting off the inevitable as Federer held his serve and then broke the Brit to take the second 7-5. Federer sealed his place in his tenth Wimbledon final by breaking the third seed in the tenth game. In the earlier game, Novak Djokovic cruised into his fourth Wimbledon final, defeating Richard Gasquet in straight sets 7-6 (7-2) 6-4 6-4. The Frenchman took the first set to a tiebreak, losing out 7-2, but from then on the result was in no doubt. Djokovic broke Gasquet in the first game of the second set, and proceeded to take it 6-4. The Serb broke early again in the third set, before holding his serve for the match.
