Palace exceeded all expectations last season as Alan Pardew led them to a top 10 finish. The addition of Yohan Cabaye will be seen as a coup, with the Frenchman being brought in to run the midfield. Yannick Bolasie remaining at the club will also be key in deciding the fate of the side, despite only scoring four league goals last year. Palace’s top scorer last season, Dwight Gayle, only scored ten goals last season, so they have looked to Patrick Bamford, who netted 17 times for Middlesborough last season, to offset this. Palace play four of last year’s top six in their opening six games, so they could either find themselves in a low position, or set themselves up as a real banana-skin for the top teams.
Key Player: Yohan Cabaye
One to Watch: Patrick Bamford
